one of the most established Certification Authorities worldwide. Through SSL encryption, the certificate assures that information is kept private between the Personal Porter™ web server, HSBC web server and your web browser. The certificate
validates that the Personal Porter™ domain is registered with HSBC and that the registered owner has authorised the use of SSL technology.

Payment Authorisations are conducted via a payment gateway. Payment Gateways manage the process of transferring authorised credit card funds between different financial accounts. Personal Porter™ uses the Secure e-Payments Solutions as our
payment gateway.

Data transmissions on the Personal Porter™ website is secured using Verisign's authentication methods.
